I’m not an expert on your beliefs. I hope that you’ll tell me exactly what this Rapture is all about (I’m an atheist).
Is it true that when the Rapture comes only the believers in Jesus will be saved while all of the non-believers and animals will be left behind on Earth?
If so, what DO you plan on doing about your pets? Surely if all of the Christians on Earth suddenly disappeared to Heaven (or wherever you go when the Rapture comes (tell me if it’s not Heaven then there would be many pets homeless who would die because they are either locked up in a house or else simply starve to death because they don’t know how to get their own food? Maybe you don’t care about what happens to the non-believers, but surely you care what happens to your pets?
Thus, are you, Christians, at all worried that the Rapture might come soon resulting in your pet without a home?
If so, what are you going to do about it?
Here’s one organization that has a solution:
http://eternal-earthbound-pets.com/Home_Page.html
What do you think about it? Do you think you might sign up or will you risk your pets life (for surely most of your pets will die if the Rapture comes in the next few years)?
(Note: The amazing pet-saving organization at the link above was brought to my attention by another user on this website.)
Animals are God’s creatures, those that are faithful to God including animals will live in paradise. The rest of the non-believers will be condemned in Hell out of their own devices.

The pet food recall just shows that dog and cat foods sold in local grocery stores and big chain pet stores are not the best way to feed your pets. Most of these canned and dry foods lack all the nutrients that an animal needs. If your dog or cat loves and craves a certain food it’s not because it’s good for them, it’s because they aren’t getting the vitamins and nutrients their bodies need to keep healthy and live long. Anyone who owns a pet should try to feed it the absolute best food they can afford which means food from a health food store or raw food. There are many brands out there that most people have never heard of which are not that much more expensive and so much better for their pets. Check with a smaller pet store and see what brands they carry. I personally feed my cats Inova, Evolve and Merritts brands of cat food. They love it and it’s good for them. It’s full of healthy ingredients, not chemicals. If this pet food recall has scared you, do something about it.
Did you realize this yourself before, or after the recall?
Are you calling me ignorant becaue I buy 9 Lives tuna for my cats, which isn’t included in the recall, because I didn’t realize on my own sooner that something being sold off the shelf in my local grocery store could be hazardous to my pets’ health?
Would it be possible for you to rephrase your question a little more politely by simply pointing out there are other alternatives, instead of just labeling everyone who doesn’t know what you do as ignorant?
Also–not everyone realizes that dry food isn’t included. Not to mention, it’s only "cuts and gravy" types.
Thanks for the info anyway.

all the advice i get tells me how to choose the right pet . oliver is too big and has toooooo much hair. he was a stray and ive had him for two years.he wont let be brush his backside or tail. im not very strong anymore so i cant hold him down. i have a limited income and grooming costs 89 dollars.
I wish I lived where you live!! I own a grooming parlour and I struggle to get the equivalent of $15 for a German Shepard!
One of the first things is to be persistent and gentle when handling Oliver. Consider paying a student to assist you on brush day! Invest in a really good set of grooming tools like an ‘under coat rake’ a ‘dematter’ and an all round brush. When brushing the hind section I like to lie large dogs down on the ground and gently go to work. use titbits and treats to reward calm behaviour and only feed him when he is behaving well. The more often you brush him with rewards and patience the better he will get. A conditioning or silicone spray designed for dogs will help with the knots. The silicone will smooth the coat and allow the knots to slide out. A bottle of doggy dematting silicone on a dog the size of Oliver should last you at least 10 grooms.
Lastly, chat to your local groomer often they are able to either give you a discount or show you the correct techniques for brushing
Good luck.

My little mini schnauzer gets a little bit stinky and hairy since I took it home three months ago. I’m thinking to do the bathing and grooming myself. But have no idea of it at all. Just wanna seek some idea from other pet lovers. Really appreciated if you could answer the following questions.
1,How often do you get your pet groomed?
2, Do you groom your pet by yourself or get the groomer done?
3, If answer is DIY, where did you get the grooming tools, like electric clipper? How much does it cost?
4, How often do you brush your dog at home?
5, How often do you bath your dog at home?
Please feel free to talk, particularly the owner of schnauzer~
Look forward to your answers, thank you guys
I have two Maltese who need quite a bit of grooming.
1. My dogs go to professional groomers every 6 months. I do maintenance grooming at home in between visits so we can stretch it out further.
2. Both. My dogs go to the groomers for major haircuts. They are Maltese so their hair can get pretty long. In between visits I bathe them every other week, clip their nails, trim around their eye and face, and pluck their ear hair. If also take the electric clippers to them after 3 months or so.
3. I have simple pet nail clippers. I only use my fingertips to pluck their ear hair. I actually use human electric clippers to trim them up in between visits.
4. I brush mine every other night to prevent matting.
5. My dogs get a bath every two weeks. This helps prevent matting.
